In June 2021, I painted a mural for Warradale Community Children\u2019s Care, designed to brighten the space and create a connection to the natural world. Featuring local flora and fauna, the mural includes a kookaburra, magpie, and pelican, bringing a sense of place and familiarity to the children who attend the centre. By incorporating native wildlife, the artwork fosters curiosity and appreciation for the environment.<\/p>\n

This project was particularly rewarding as it was entirely freehand\u2014no projections, just brush to wall\u2014allowing for an organic and fluid approach to composition. As a donated piece, it was a way to give back to the community, providing a joyful and engaging visual element for the children and staff. The mural now serves as a colourful focal point, adding warmth and personality to the space.<\/p>\n
