Warradale Community Children's Care

In June 2021, I painted a mural for Warradale Community Children’s Care, designed to brighten the space and create a connection to the natural world. Featuring local flora and fauna, the mural includes a kookaburra, magpie, and pelican, bringing a sense of place and familiarity to the children who attend the centre. By incorporating native wildlife, the artwork fosters curiosity and appreciation for the environment.

This project was particularly rewarding as it was entirely freehand—no projections, just brush to wall—allowing for an organic and fluid approach to composition. As a donated piece, it was a way to give back to the community, providing a joyful and engaging visual element for the children and staff. The mural now serves as a colourful focal point, adding warmth and personality to the space.
