This project was completed entirely freehand, allowing for a fluid and organic approach to composition. Working on a large scale required careful planning and adaptability, ensuring the design remained balanced and visually engaging. Alongside the mural, I was also commissioned to create a separate A3 gouache painting of the old oak tree that stands just outside the café. This piece serves as a sentimental tribute to the tree, capturing its character and significance within the local landscape. The combination of both artworks adds depth to the café’s identity, connecting it to its surroundings in a meaningful way.
